"Beautiful Person"

In the world of anti-aging treatments, it is naturally the external part of the skin that we think of first. What if you could treat imbalances in the body, improve digestion, and reduce anxiety and stress alongside your beautifying treatment? These are some of the main contributing factors to the health and appearance of the skin. Chinese Medicine excels at treating the root of these imbalances, transforming us from the inside out.

Mei Zen Acupuncture

Mei Zen (“Beautiful Person”) acupuncture uses strategically placed, fine needles on the face and body to assist in boosting collagen production, softening lines, gently lifting, evening skin tone, and creating a natural glow you didn’t know you had in you.  Improvements are also seen in acne, rosacea, and other skin conditions.

Getting Results

Mei Zen works best as a series, the standard being 2 treatments a week for 5 weeks.  This  series allows each treatment to build off the previous, so you are doubling down on that collagen production and balancing needed for your skin to make noticeable, lasting changes.  Stem cells, herbal serums, and light therapy can be added to the treatment for enhanced results.  As the treatment sinks in, your body chills out, and you’ll get why treating holistically is blissfully powerful.

The "After" image shown here was taken just before the 10th treatment in the series.  Notice the tightening and brightening of the skin, the lifting around the eyes, and the more defined jawline. Her treatments were done with acupuncture only ~ light therapy, stem cells, facial gua sha and cupping can also be added to your treatment upon request ~

Microneedling

Collagen Induction Therapy

Microneedling is the process of rapidly inserting fine needles into the skin to create microchannels in the deeper layers, allowing collagen boosting and hydrating products to reach where they need to most. Hyaluronic acid is used during the treatment, a natural substance that holds 1000% its weight in water due to its hydrophilic properties.  Considering the process of professional microneedling increases absorption of products up to 2000%, that’s a lot of JUICE.  The controlled micro “injuries” created in the process kick the body’s repair systems into high gear.  That is when the deep healing begins: growth factors are released, collagen is produced, and the body creates fresh new layers of radiant skin that will appear over the next couple of weeks and months.

We will have a consult and pick your PUNCH, including collagen producing herbal serums, apple stem cells, ethically sourced bone marrow stem cells, or even a custom swirl just for you.  Combine this with the healing and relaxing effects of light therapy (included), and you are hosting your own punch party for your face.

Microneedling For Hair Restoration

Collagen Induction Therapy For Treating Hair Loss

Research studies continue to support the efficacy of microneedling for regrowing hair~  The addition of stem cells, Hyaluronic Acid, Chinese herbal hair spray, and red light therapy during your treatment will revitalize your scalp and hair follicles, encouraging new cell growth in a primed and nourished environment.  Patients are asked to choose a consistent program that works for them, and results are typically visible within 4 months, often within the first 2.  Acupuncture is recommended in between treatments to treat the root of the underlying cause, and can be offered as part of your package.

PUNCH

For the first day following microneedling, you’ll be using provided hyaluronic acid on your face, along with your custom serums.  Then, expect your regular skin care routine to go further as the microchannels created are ready to absorb more fully for the next 7 days. An aftercare sheet will be provided.
